Chapter commander

  • Brian “Gasman” Allen served over 20 years in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate – Fuels Chief. He now serves as Commander of CVMA® Chapter 29-8. To Gasman,

    CVMA® means supporting veterans no matter what their needs are and standing together as a brotherhood that looks out for one another and their families.

Executive Officer

  • Keri “TORQUE” Cooper served in the United States Marine Corps from 2009–2014 as a 6154 Light Attack Helicopter Airframes Mechanic. He now serves as Executive Officer (XO) for CVMA® Chapter 29-8. To TORQUE, CVMA® means creating a family where veterans feel at home and can support one another through life’s challenges, always staying true to the mission of Vets Helping Vets.

Secretary

  • Steven “Redline” Eggert served 12 years in the United States Air Force as a Military Police officer. He now serves as Secretary for CVMA® Chapter 29-8.

    To Redline, CVMA® means being part of something bigger than himself again and honoring those who served before him by continuing the mission of Vets Helping Vets.

Treasurer

  • Terry “Trigger” Ulloa Jr. served in the U.S. Army and Oregon Army National Guard from 2008–2019, starting as an infantryman and finishing his service as an E-5 Sergeant and Cavalry Scout. He now serves as Treasurer for CVMA® Chapter 29-8.

    To Trigger, CVMA® means giving fellow veterans a shoulder to lean on and helping them get back on track while continuing the mission of Vets Helping Vets.

Sgt. at arms

  • David “YODIE” Deichler served in the United States Marine Corps from 2006–2010 as an 0311 Infantryman with 1st Battalion, 7th Marines. A veteran of the Iraq War, Yodie completed two combat tours to Fallujah. On his first deployment, he served as a SAW Gunner; by his second tour, he had earned the role of Team Leader, commanding a fire team through high-stakes combat missions.

    Today, Yodie continues his service as the Sergeant at Arms for CVMA® Chapter 29-8. Holding this position has returned to him a profound sense of duty and purpose—a feeling he hasn’t experienced since his time in the Corps.

    Riding with 29-8 has become a defining passion in his life, and he finds a familiar rhythm on the road; to him, riding in formation feels a lot like being out on patrol with his squad. To Yodie, the CVMA® is about being there for your brothers and having their Six.

sTAFF officers

  • Miranda “PANDA” Deichler is an Auxiliary member and serves as the Public Relations Officer for CVMA® Chapter 29-8.For Panda, being part of the CVMA®  means believing that caring for veterans starts at home and extends into the community. She is passionate about building connections and ensuring every veteran feels seen, supported, and valued.

Webmaster

  • Joshua “Dragon” Mondragon served ten years in the United States Marine Corps as an 0311 and 0369 Infantry Marine. He currently serves as the Webmaster for CVMA® Chapter 29 8, where he supports the chapter’s communication, outreach, and digital operations.

    To Dragon, CVMA® represents the brotherhood and community that veterans deserve long after the uniform comes off. It is a place where no one stands alone and where service to one another remains the priority.

    Outside of CVMA®, Josh leads PWG, where he works with businesses to strengthen operations, manage growth, and drive real change. His experience spans the Marine Corps, Congress, Deloitte, and global project work at DSV, giving him a strong mix of leadership and hands on execution.

Quartermaster

  • Ed “Lil Ed” DuPont served in the U.S. Army from 1987–1995 as a 44B Metal Worker and was part of the 3rd Armored Division during Desert Storm. He serves as Quartermaster for CVMA® Chapter 29-8.

    To Lil Ed, CVMA® represents the mission and brotherhood of veterans helping veterans—whether that support is physical, financial, or simply being a shoulder to lean on.

Chaplain

  • Donn “Bigdog” Hougham served 25 years in the U.S. Army, earning a Bronze Star for his service during OIF and OEF. He continues his service today as a member of CVMA® Chapter 29-8. To Bigdog, CVMA® means “Vets Helping Vets” — giving back however and whenever he can while supporting fellow veterans and strengthening the community.
